Mandara Spa's Services
- What kind of services does Mandara Spa at Royal Park Shiodome Tower offer?
- Roughly, our services consist of the Hydro Bath and treatments. Guests can enjoy our Hydro Bath facilities without making a reservation. For all treatments, however, reservations are required. Guests taking a spa treatment receive complimentary use of our Hydro Bath facilities.
- What kind of treatments do you have?
- Please contact our Spa Receptionist by phone to find a suitable treatment
for you. Basically our treatments are categorized into five courses.
- Which treatment do you recommend for first-time visitors to the Mandara Spa?
- Tastes differ, but Ayurvedic Shiro Dhara and Balinese Massage are our most popular treatments. Please don't hesitate to contact our Spa Receptionist for any questions you may have regarding our treatments.
- Can a couple (a male and a female) enjoy treatments together in the same treatment room?
- Yes, it is possible depending on the treatment. Please contact the Spa Receptionist for treatment details. Hydro Bath facilities are separated into males and female facilities.
- How many people can book a treatment at once (group treatment)?
- We have eight treatment rooms for females and three for males and these have different functions for specific treatments. Rooms are different based on the treatment we offer. Therefore, there is no generic answer as to the maximum number of guests in a group we can accept at once. It is sometimes difficult to arrange group use of our spa especially in the same time period. Please call us at your earliest convenience with a few scheduling options.
- Can I request a specific therapist for my treatment? If so, is there an additional charge?
- Yes, you can specify a therapist without any additional charge. We believe that good communication with your favorite therapists will help us to find the most suitable treatments for you.
- Do I have to bring extra clothes with me? Do I have to wear a swimming suit to use the Hydro Bath facilities?
- Guests do not need to bring any specific clothing. We provide hygienic disposable paper panties for women and boxer shorts for men for use during treatment. Towels, slippers and bathrobes are also available at the spa. Locker rooms for changing are available for males and females. Guests wear nothing when using our Hydro Bath. Generally, it would be recommended for you to visit the spa with your casual clothes to avoid any unexpected oil or scrub stains or fragrance on your clothes.
- Can I send a treatment gift to my friends?
- For the ultimate gift, you may purchase a Mandara Spa Gift Certificate. Any treatments on our treatment menu can be used with the certificate. Hydro Bath tickets are also available. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card. Customers living faraway can receive the gift certificates if they send the value of certificate rates, plus postage by bank transfer in advance. We will send gift certificates by registered mail. Please contact us for further details. The certificate is valid only at Mandara Spa of Royal Park Shiodome Tower for six (6) months from the date of issue.
- What do you stock in your Spa Boutique
- All Decleor products from France are available. Non-stocked items can also be ordered and delivered in several days. Mandara Spa original goods imported from Bali are on sale. Products can be sent to customers living faraway via parcel delivery service, if they remit payment and shipping expenses in advance via bank transfer.
- Is the pressure of the massages strong?
- It all depends on each guest and how he (she) feels about massage pressure, but our massages are quite different from shiatsu or seitai. The concept of our spa experience is total relaxation by enjoying the Hydro Bath and the following treatments. Please note that our massages are not intended to alleviate shoulder tension or headaches.
